100% Renewable Generated Electricity 

Manufacturing is energy intensive. There’s no avoiding the fact that manufacturing cables involves lots of machinary and heat to make and move the products around our factory for example. As well as looking at ways of reducing our energy usage we have taken a responsible aproach to the sourcing of that electricty, choosing sustainibility and environmental considerations over and above the lowest cost provider.

Our electricity is currently sourced from the following:

• Onshore Wind
• Offshore Wind
• Biofuels
• Solar
• Hydroelectric

Traceability & REGO Certificates

We use only electricity that is proven to have been made from renewables. To gaurantee this we use only REGO certified electricity. REGO stands for “Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin”. This is a certificate issued by OFGEM (the energy regulator for Great Britain) to help track energy back to a renewable source.
